Se i PGA hanno ribadito la forza di The Shape of Water, già Leone d’Oro ed ora tra i favoriti per l’Oscar come miglior film insieme a Tre Manifesti, i SAG Awards (premi assegnati dal sindacato attori) hanno confermato il lotto di attori in corsa per la statuetta più importante.
Sono quattro e sono di fatto quasi inattaccabili.
Gary Oldman, strepitoso ne l’Ora Più Buia; Frances McDormand, monumentale in Tre Manifesti insieme a Sam Rockwell; ed infine Allison Janney, eccezionale mamma in “I, Tonya”.
Nulla di nuovo anche in ambito televisivo, con Alexander Skarsgard e Nicole Kidman di nuovo premiati grazie a Big Little Lies, Claire Foy sugli scudi con The Crown e Sterling K. Brown all’ennesimo riconoscimento degli ultimi due anni per merito di This Is Us.
