AD’s June issue is the first entirely produced during the global COVID-19 lockdown. Though most of our photoshoots for this issue were completed before stay-at-home orders were enforced, our cover shoot was still missing. TV impresario Ryan Murphy (@mrrpmurphy) and his husband, photographer David Miller (@dcmphoto.biz), graciously opened the doors to both their L.A. and New York homes, providing us with a beautiful cover story in the most unexpected conditions. (Miller shot the L.A. home, while Murphy penned the story.) And just when we were all finding new ways to work together and produce a magazine in the age of social distancing, the world has once again been rocked, this time by the urgent need to dismantle racial injustice in America. The AD team will continue to evolve in this moment and learn how to best use our privilege and platform to enact meaningful change within our own industry and communities. Da 8 anni sposo di David Miller, Ryan Murphy, Re Mida della serialità televisiva d’America con un contratto monster da 300 milioni di dollari in sei anni targati Netflix, Ryan Murphy ha rivelato ad Architectural Digest che sarà padre per la terza volta in agosto.
“Stiamo aspettando un altro bambino, nascerà in agosto”, ha precisato il regista, produttore e sceneggiatore, già papà di Ford Theodore, cinque anni, e Logan Phineas, sette anni, entrambi avuti tramite gestazione per altri.
Il piccolo Ford Theodore, a cui era stato diagnosticato un neuroblastoma nell’ottobre 2018, è fortunatamente completamente guarito dal cancro.
Negli ultimi 12 mesi Murphy ha sfornato novità tv come “Hollywood”, “The Politician” e “9-1-1: Lone Star”, mentre ora è in rampa di lancio l’attesissimo “Ratched” interpretato da Sarah Paulson. Sulla cover di Architectural Digest  la pazzesca casa losangelina di Ryan, con i due figli a bordo piscina.
