Lady Gaga ha vinto nella notte il suo 2° Golden Globe, dopo quello per American Horror Story: Hotel come miglior attrice, grazie a Shallow, canzone portante di A Star is Born.
Una vittoria annunciata per la Germanotta, che si è sciolta al momento dell’incoronazione.

Niente da fare per il premio più ambito, quello per la miglior attrice drammatica, andato alla straordinaria e leggendaria Glenn Close, protagonista di The Wife.
Sconfitto anche A Star is Born, battuto da Bohemian Rhapsody, mentre Green Book è stato eletto miglior commedia/musical di stagione.
Alfonso Cuaron miglior regista per Roma, eletto anche miglior film straniero, e Rami Malek miglior attore per Bohemian Rhapsody, con la pazzesca Olivia Colman di The Favourite miglior attrice in una comedy/musical insieme a Christian Bale, e Regina King miglior attrice non protagonista insieme a Mahershala Ali.
Tra le serie, trionfo assoluto per The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story di Ryan Murphy, che aveva già sbancato agli EMMY, con Darren Criss miglior attore.
E ora, ovviamente, si attendono le nomination agli Oscar.
