La stagione dei premi cinematografici ha ufficialmente preso vita grazie al National Board of Review, che ha visto Lady Gaga abbracciare il suo primo importante premio.
La Germanotta è stata infatti (incredibilmente) eletta miglior attrice dell’anno grazie a A Star is Born, con Bradley Cooper miglior regista. Tripletta per la pellicola Warner grazie al bravissimo Sam Elliott, eletto miglior attore non protagonista.
Il premio, che ha 109 anni di storia, ha anticipato nelle ultime stagioni alcune dive da Oscar come Julianne Moore (Still Alice) e Brie Larson (Room). Lo scorso anno vinse Meryl Streep per The Post.
Per Gaga il sogno della nomination agli Oscar come miglior attrice, a detta del sottoscritto immeritata vista l’elevatissima concorrenza di stagione, è sempre più ad un passo.
